Hello people! I will introduce myself withthin a few words: I work as a film producer in London, although I was born in Romania. I have choosen this country because I have been fascinated of the British culture, since I was a little girl.
You might be wondering: "Ok, but what's the connection between you and sports?" Well, that's easy! I am an advocate of the healthy life style, and this thing has been reflected in my passion for all kind of sports, but especially tennis.
I started playing tennis when I was 11. The main reason was that I wanted to grow up tall and slim. I was also a bit overweight and I decided that tennis was the best option for me.
I sooner became very keen on this sport. After a couple of months of playing tennis, the couch had already proposed me to train for local tournaments. I accepted, and than it came a time when at least 5 hours of training were part of my daily activity.
I started watching tennis matches on TV, I made my favourite players and I easily learned from them a lot of important things, that a truly champion MUST know. Also, in order to improve my performances in relation with this magnificent sport, I started honing my mental.
I hope I didn't get you bored with this little story. The fact is that, all the things I have learned in that period of time, resulted to be useful in my present career, in my everyday life.
Although you might feel disappointed, I have to confess that my performances in tennis met a decline when I chose to dedicate myself to studies, rather than to sports. And I do not regret it, because tennis is still part of my life, and it will always be.
Nowadays, in weekends or vacations I go with my parents and boyfriend and we have a little fun playing tennis.
Also, my interest in the world of professional tennis players remained awaken, and sometimes I even make bets in the tennis tournaments...just for fun, not necessarily for money.
However, tennis isn't the only sport that I am familiar with. I also enjoy playing handball, basketball and, of course, swimming.
To draw a conclusion, I hope I'll find people who shares the same ideas as me in relation with the world of sports. _________________ By combining both physical and mental effort we can be lead to an optimum lever of harmony and equilibrium. |
