Maybe its a LITTLE right. I mean you got more time to adjust more and more into the season.

As an SC fan, I'm happy their one loss came early .

Yeah I remember that. That was big news up here at the time.

People rushed the field up in Berkeley after the game.

I can't believe USC let it slip in overtime. They played very badly, but they made up for it. Then there was that stupid fumble...

Well the BCS will really be shooken up after last nights games. Oklahoma lost to K-State 35-7, while USC and LSU each won there games convincingly. But Notre Dame lost to Syracuse and that will mess with USC strenght of schedule. That will prolly make LSU move ahead of USC in the BCS standings. All in all, it will prolly be LSU and Oklahoma in the national championship game. But LSU has beat a good Georgia team twice, so the title game could be good.

Yesterday's results only prove to me that there should be a playoff system in place. This is pathetic that USC is going to be #1 in both polls but NOT play for the title.

What a bunch of crap!

It should be LSU and USC in the Sugar Bowl. I ain't watching it.

If Oklahoma had only lost be a little bit, like by a field goal or a touchdown last night then I think it might be okay but they lost by 28 points and it could have been 42 to 7 if Kansas State really wanted to rub it in.

I can't wait to see how John Saunders and the guys at ABC defend this.

Well the final standing are in and this is how my playoff would go.

1) Oklahoma vs 16) N. Texas*
2) LSU* vs 15) Southern Miss.*
3) USC* vs 14) Utah*
4) Michigan* vs 13) Boise St.*
5) Ohio St. vs 12) Georgia
6) Texas vs 11) Miami (ohio)*
7) Florida St.* vs 10) Kansas St.*
Tenn* vs 9) Miami (Fla)*

The first round alone would be better then some of these bowl games. 3 games stick in my fantasy. Ohio St Georgia game. FSU and KSU and Tenn vs Miami. 3 Great games.
Now where to play the games? This is what I purpose.

1) Oklahoma vs 16) N. Texas* - Indepence Bowl
2) LSU* vs 15) Southern Miss.* - Gator Bowl
3) USC* vs 14) Utah* - Silicon Valley Football Classic
4) Michigan* vs 13) Boise St.* - Music City Bowl
5) Ohio St. vs 12) Georgia - Holiday Bowl
6) Texas vs 11) Miami (ohio)* - Outback Bowl
7) Florida St.* vs 10) Kansas St.* - Sun Bowl
Tenn* vs 9) Miami (Fla)* - Liberty Bowl

The 4 quarter final games would be at the ROSE, Cotton, Peach Bowl , Capital One Bowl

2 Semi Final games Fiesta and Orange

Chamionship Game at the Sugar Bowl

The 4 BCS games would rotate every year and the rest woud rotate

Just one man's idea

I love your idea, ctfwest.

For this year, personally, I would be satisfied with the Top 4 for the title.

#1 USC vs. #4 Michigan in the Rose Bowl
#2 LSU vs. #3 Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl

Winners of those 2 games play each other in the Fiesta Bowl or Orange Bowl.

i agree that is a very good idea, all five teams are worthy of being the champion i think that USC is the best though

I think USC has the best offense.

LSU and Oklahoma have a better defense.
