This all seems a little odd to me. Not a college fan, but I've heard people criticize the BCS, of course. But, the weird part to me is why is the government involved? I mean... why are the commissioners of the ACC and the Mountain West Conference being trotted up in front of the House to discuss their playoff/bowl system? Just seems odd to me.

I don't think the government should be involved here; they have more important things to keep in mind.

I do think something different should be done with the BCS, but, it isn't for the government to make the decisions as to what that is.
