I know that baseball is excited about how Barry Bonds is cranking out home runs every other night but what about Todd Helton?
This guy is on fire. As of at this moment he has 69 runs 23 home runs and 77 rbi. Not to mention he is batting .345 and has an on base percentage of .462 and a slugging percentage of .723 in only 65 games!!!!
Bonds is doing awesome too but I think that Helton deserves as much if not more credit then Bond's. But then again, I'm a huge Rockies fan .

Well Bonds is just doing great. He has twice the homeruns Piazza has!
Helton does deserve a lot of credit. He is still very young and turning out great numbers.

I agree. Helton is a really great player, and is going to get even greater. He was really good last year too.
I see Bonds hit his 35th and 36th HR's yesterday. I really think he's going to do it you know!! I just hope the Giants don't have to wind up the regular season with a series of games in St Louis, with Barry needing just one more to break McGwire's 70...the Cardinal's will 'walk' him every at bat!! |

At this rate, Barry should get around 75 homeruns! I'm thinking if he stays healthy, he'll end up with 60+

| Don't forget Sammy! He's really getting hot. I watched the Cardinals/Cubs game on ESPN last night, and he was just awesome. Not only one of the best outfield diving catches you will ever see in your life, but 6 RBI's and 2 homers, including a Grand Slam. Don Baylor says Sosa is really getting hot, so don't put at least another 60 HRs past him. Bonds is getting all the publicity, but there are several other hitters having really big years, and who are being ignored because of the Bonds thing in SF. Look at Gonzalez in Arizona for another one. |

| Don't forget Cliff Floyd. Look how much he has helped the Marlins get where they are today. |
