So how about the Arizona Wildcats? They win again last night. This time beating Illinois. It was at Phoenix but it was still a quality win.
They had a little stumbling block when Kansas came and visited them last Saturday.
But still so far I would say this is Lute Olson's greatest coaching job ever. Well if it continues. They've just come out of nowhere. Nobody expected them to do anything after they lost 4 of the 5 starters from last year's team that got to the National Championship Game and lost to Duke.
Jason Gardner had a big 2nd half with 18 of his 23 points in that half. He was the only guy who returned and he only did that after seeing he wasn't going to go as high as he thought he might be going in the N.B.A. Draft. I bet Michael Wright wishes he returned now since he doesn't have a job in the N.B.A. after being cut by the New York Knicks. |

#1 goes down!
U.C.L.A. just upset the #1 team in the country today in the opening day of the Pac-10 Tournament.
Who would have thought? |

Too bad once the UCLA season is over Lavin will be gone because he hasn't won any championships. It is almost like getting rid of Bobby Cox because of the lack Braves' championships. _________________ It takes a lot of punishment to be able to do anything to change the social order.

Well maybe if Lavin wins the Pac-10 Tournament this weekend to get the automatic N.C.A.A. bid and then runs the table and wins the National Championship, he could keep his job. |

he didn't win the NCAA tourney or much less the Pac10 but here is an interesting fact if they won the NCAA tourney and the Pac 10 they would only be a 500 team _________________ My teams

Good game for Arizona tonight.
Notre Dame was in there for like the first 10 minutes and that was it. |
