my preseason favorite would have to be manning vs. manning game
Colts vs. Giants
i actually think its possible, both teams are the last 2 super bowl champions and are still playing very well...........but hey it could happen _________________ NHL = Nashville Predators

Like Jacksonville in the AFC. Obviously San Diego as well.
Possibly Carolina as a long shot in the NFC. |

Patriots-(two teams, depending on the Brett Favre situation) Packers/Cowboys
I pick the Pats for two reasons,
1.) die hard fan
2.) after the defeat in the super bowl, i can see how the aging core group realizes their time is limited (Harrison, Bruschi, Vrabel, etc.) and the pats playing with a renewed sense of urgency, now i'm not saying it will be 19-0, but I could see an 11-5 or a 12-4 record going into the post season. _________________ thousands of reasons to fail but not one excuse. |

| I don't even see the Cowboys running away with the NFC East. It is very uncommon if you look through the years of NFL history for teams to have as dominating seasons as Dallas had to go for consecutive years. I see them dropping to 10 or 11 wins and watch for the Redskins to be major contenders for the division. As for my superbowl picks, I really like San Diego in the AFC and the Chicago Bears' defense and Devin Hester will save them throughout the '08 season to get them to the dance where they will be blown out by the Chargers. It seems like it is San Diego's time. Last year they beat the Colts without Philip Rivers and LT, and if those 2 guys were 100% for the championship game, I think they would've ended the Pats season at 17-1. |

Good arguement for the Chargers here. They have been strong for several seasons now, and if they don't capitalize soon, it will pass them by. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |
