I think another another possible option for Brett Favre is the Seattle Seahawks. Because he would be reunited with Mike Holmgren, and he'll have to compete with Matt Hasselback and Charlie Fry. Plus the NFC West isn't that tough of a conference and the Seahawks can easily win the division, and can compete to get to the NFC championship game. Also Seahawk stadium is tough to play in ask the Redskins, plus the rebuilt running game looks good, also last time I checked there a wide receiver named Deion Branch on that team.

I don't really see Favre heading somewhere where he'd have to compete for a starting job, and I'm pretty sure the Seahawks are quite content with Matt Hasselback as their starting QB.

Sounds a bit like all of that A-Rod to Cubs hoopla where people were saying he'd go there just to reunite with Lou Piniella even though they already have an All-Star 3B. It usually doesn't work like that.

I agree. It is kind of crappy that this talk has surfaced now, especially for Rodgers. The team has been working him as the starter, and now this pops up.

I don't see Hasselbeck getting dumped as the Seattle starter, either.

i say if favre wants to keep playing why stop him, which is why packers should be happy that their legendary all-star 3-time mvp qb wants to keep playing for them and help them win another title...........and with the talent they have right now, i can easily see that happening

Has Favre been staying in shape, though? Has he been practicing? Has he thown a ball since he retired? There are a lot of things to consider here. Sure, last year was great, but it just may be time to move on.

The best possible situation Brett Favre could get into would be joining the Minnesota Vikings. They have improved in nearly every category except quarterback. With Adrian Peterson in the running game, Jared Allen on defense, and Brett at QB, the Vikings would go far.

Minnesota may be a candidate, but I don't see the Packers letting that happen. Most likely, they will move him to an AFC team, if they move him at all.

If he applies for reinstatement, then I think they will try to trade him to an AFC franchise. That, or keep him and let him sit. I don't see how that much money can sit, though.

Not sure about Favre going to the Vikings, most likely he will join the Dolphins or the Panthers, as those are the teams more interested on his services, and even more considering that if he returns, this might as well be his last year for good, well Favre is old! lol
