The deal is for 2 years, $36.2 million: http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7533044

This definitely bolsters the Dodger's lineup, although Jones had his worst offensive season of his career.

I think that's way too much money for Andruw Jones, and that's the deal he gets even after the market settles. Now you know why more guys don't dump Scott Boras.

This is a great move for the Dodgers. If the fact that Jones was playing with a hyper extended elbow was true, then he should bounce back to form and hit 35-40 homeruns for the Dodgers next year. Furthermore, the fact that he has 10 gold gloves in center field greatly improves the Dodgers outfield defense. Now teams can't just run all over the Dodgers defense. Additionally, the Dodgers now have an option to trade either Ethier or Kemp for front of the line pitching. Overall, this was a great deal for the Dodgers and the fact that it's so short just makes it so much better.

I have to agree with you here. Boras got him his money, even after the worst season of his career, statistically.

A very wise move from the Dodgers. This deepens their lineup. A very great deal.
