anyone here a big roller coaster fan?
I've been to two different amusement parks (besides anything starting with Disney, that doesn't count ) a total of seven times (i think) and I love roller coasters. Luckily the two parks I've been to (Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Cedar Point Ohio) are arguably the two best amusement parks (for roller coasters) in the U.S., if not world. Magic Mountain has more coasters then any park on the planet, by far. And Cedar Point has been voted best all-around amusement park the past few years.
I went to Magic Mountain yesterday, but it closed at 2:00 due to "inclement weather." Doesn't really matter, I'm a season pass holder, so it was free anyways |

Ahhhh I LOVE roller coasters
Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio is the greatest! Defska, have you been on the Millenium Force? That has to be one of if not the tallest coaster in the US. And it is so amazingly fast |

Wedge: Six Flags is all over the world...Six Flags Magic Mountain is near Los Angeles
Nick: yeah i went on the Millenium Force, i think it's the tallest, fastest, longest coaster in the world. That was one of my favorite coasters ever. We have a ride out here at Magic Moutain, the Goliath, that was the tallest coaster before the Millenium Force went up. It's main drop is about the size as the Millenium Force's second drop
Pat: as far as I am concerned, Disney has one roller coaster, the Rock'n Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith...a cool ride nonetheless, especially since i love Aerosmith, but definitely not a big coaster Disney World was still cool though hehe |

Yeah they recently put up another Six Flags in Ohio near Cleveland...I am yet to go there and look forward to it.
I liked the Rockin' Roller Coaster in MGM. Especially the start!
Another good one is The Hulk in Universal Studies Islands of Adventure. It slowly starts going up the first hill and about half way up, it shoots up at like 60 + mph INSTANTLY! Its fun stuff
Patrick: Its the experience that matters...how high up you are, looking down and barely seeing the tiny people, and the speed! If you think like that, then nothing is exciting.
