Wow, the A's have gone warm again, winning their 6th in a row tonight, beating up on bad teams like Baltimore and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Red Sox have lost like 6 in a row giving the A's a 7 game lead in the American League Wild Card race, their biggest lead in the Wild Card race to date.
I was wondering so you Red Sox fans think you guys have a better chance of catching the A's or the Yankees who also have a 7 game lead in the American League East? I think you guys play the Yankees a lot more head-to-head (even after this current series between Boston and New York) in September than the A's because of the unbalanced schedule so I would think you guys should shoot for the Division title instead of the Wild Card. |

Yup that also. The Indians are a great team no doubt.
But a big reason for that is the Twins have just collapsed. I have no clue what happened to them. They started off the season so well too. Maybe they weren't that good to begin with and we're finally seeing it and the Twins' start was just a mirage.

Yup. And the A's actually lost to the worst team in Baseball today, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Red Sox still couldn't capitalize. I wonder how long Nomar is going to out. |
