When would you say that a course is hard? What is the factor that you find more challenging on a course?

it depends on a lot. how long the course is. is it uphill mostly? or on the green if its slanted in a certain direction. It depends on alot really...trees, sands, everything is a factor.

Length is a factor, but i dont think it is the most important factor. Good architectural placement of hazards is by far the most challenging parts of a course.
