Last I checked, R&B/hip-hop/rap type music led record sales in this country.
In fact, this last year was the first time since Nirvana that rock music had an increase in sales. Let's all thank the White Stripes and similar bands for that.

Certain types of rap are pop... Pop is not a certain music.
But DON'T compare real hiphop to pop. Hiphop is a culture... There are incredible MCs all over the world who get no shine whatsoever and are still incredible, and don't mind being unknown because of their love for the culture. |

When did I compare "real hiphop" to pop anyway? I just said I don't care for either. I respect MC's.

50 Cents new album was suppose to come in November, but since his current album is staying on the top 5 for so lond, he delyaed it until February.

I just assumed... Buit it wasn't really directed at you, it was directed at everyone. A lot of people pass hiphop off as just a music that takes no talents, but there are actually four important elements and rapping is only one of them. |

Well, I prefer guitar and drums to rhymes and beats, that's all.
Sorry I got a little defensive. I just don't want to make people think I was comparing pop to hiphop.

It's cool... I love all music so I can agree or atleast understand with basically any opinion on it. Music is my hobby I guess you could say... |

I dislike a small amount of music. Country and boy/girl bands. Its all crap.
