This one is intriguing. The Phillies could not have asked for anymore out of Lee, yet they easily shipped him off for the guy they really wanted.
Toronto seems to have done alright since they got pretty good value for a guy that wasn't going to stay.
Phillies traded an Ace for an Ace. Kind of a wash. Think it would have been smarter to try shipping off Hamels instead of Lee.
Mariners come out ahead! Great 1-2 punch in their rotation. Along with the Angels declining, the Mariners look to be the favorites. |
