http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/rookies/rankings

1.Michael Beasley
2.Greg Oden
3.Marc Gasol

I still can't believe they have Gasol before Derrick Rose and OJ Mayo...

Beasley is overhyped way to much. Hes not 7 foot. There are to many defenders in the league that will out skill him in his first three years. Yes he will be a monster after the first three years, but now i dont think so.

Beasley was better in college than Mayo was; I don't see that changing in the NBA; not right away, anyways.

not that this matters much but i just thought of it just now..........didnt beasley's team take out mayo's team in the ncaa tournament?

i believe so, coz i remember watching that game coz i was hoping for k-state to make it to the sweet 16 and mayo played great but beasley played better

its not like mayo and beasley played 1v1 . teammates have everything to do with a game. indv. players have a small impact.

This is true.

And no, it wasn't one on one, but still, Beasley had better numbers throughout the year in the NCAA than Mayo did. I think Beasley will impact his team more than Mayo will to start out. Who gets better over time, who knows. Right now, Beasley is the better player.
