What teams will be the top 8 in each conference this upcoming nba season?

Eastern Conference
Atlantic- Nets -- if jefferson can stay healthy, you have kidd, jefferson, carter, nachbar, and mikki moore, they got a good young core and a vet core.

Central- Bulls -- detroit is getting older, and with billups leaving they lost a huge part to there team. lebron and the cavs will be biting at the bulls heels all season but will fall apart late. with the bulls picking up noah, aaron gray, and jameOSon or whatever, they had a great draft. the bulls are also rumored to be pursuing darko miliklic (sorry for spelling), if they aquire him they are the eastern conf champs. hinrich, gordan, deng, wallace, thomas. bench- sefalosha, nocinoi, duhon, gray, noah, jameSON, and kryapah...please name a better full team.

Southeast- I give this divison to the ATLANTA HAWKS. yes i said it. with the combo of joe johnson, and newly acquired acie law and al horford, they have a good young core to build around. speedy claxton will contribute along with pachulia. i look for the hawks to tkae it in the home strech.

top 8 seeds from East
1) Chicago (divison winner)
2) Cleveland (win total)
3) New Jersey (divison winner)
4) Atlanta (divison winner)
5) Detroit
6) Toronto
7) Miami
Magic

Conference Champ series
Chicago vs Toronto
Winner: Chicago

West [u]

Pacific- Easy pick here. Phoenix Suns. with nash getting older, he will still have his stuff. barbosa is a up and coming superstar, stoudamire and marion will once again dominate the glass and paint. diaw, thomas, and draft pick alando tucker will fit in nice.

Southwest- Gotta love nowitzki. Dallas Mavericks. The spurs will be dominate but i believe nowitzki will have another mvp season and lead the mavs to another 60 win season. terry and stackhouse are aging but will lead the mavs. diop and devin harris and up-and-coming. draft pick nick fazekas will contest for rookie of the year.

Northwest- Utah Jazz. Deron Williams is a superstar and his numbers will increase every year. Boozer's performance in the playoffs and strech had to boost his confidence and will dominate again next year. Okur and Kirelinko will control the paint. Paul Millsap will be a rebounding machine and look for the jazz to add some quailty role players.

Top 8 seeds from West
1) Dallas (divison winner)
2) Spurs (win total)
3) Phoenix (divison winner)
4) Utah (divison winner)
5) Houston
6) Denver
7) Portland
Los Angeles Clippers

Conf Champ Series: Dallas vs Phoenix
Winner: Dallas

Season MVP: Dirk Nowitzki

NBA finals: Chicago vs Dallas
winner: Chicago 6 games

Finals mvp: Luol Deng

East

Atlantic Division: New Jersey Nets will prolly win this weak division, with the core of Carter, Kidd and Jefferson along with young talent of moore and krstic they have a great shot.

Central Division: Detroit Pistons are pick to win this division, i know how good the bulls and cavs have gotten but no matter......to me the pistons are still the east's team to beat if they want to get far, billups aint going anywhere, he just wants a new contract......he already said he wants to remain in detroit and you put him with "rip" hamilton they are the best back-court in the league.

Southeast Division: Washington Wizards are my team here, if Gilbert Arenas stays and Caron Butler stays healthy comin off a great all-star season and with Antawn Jamison......i see the wizards pulling it off, the heat are getting old and the magic and bobcats are still young.

Eastern Playoffs:
1: Detroit
2: Cleveland
3: Washington
4: New Jersey
5: Miami
6: Chicago
7: Toronto
8: Charlotte

Conference Finals
Detroit vs. Chicago

Winner: Detroit

West

Northwest Division: Utah Jazz could make another push in my opinion, they still have all their good talented players and are getting better, Williams is becoming a good PG and Boozer and Kirilenko are great in the paint.

Southwest Division: San Antonio Spurs are my pick here, there the defending champions and will prolly be the best team in the west, but i do see the mavs and rockets making a huge push for this division.

Pacific Division: Phoenix Suns are a no brainer here, with a big three in nash, stoudemire and marion they have a another big shot at making the finals, barbosa is a future all-star......bell is a all-defensive guy, and diaw is working alot harder during the off-season to get better then he was this past season.

Western Playoffs:
1: San Antonio
2: Phoenix
3: Dallas
4: Utah
5: Houston
6: Denver
7: Los Angeles Lakers
8: Portland

Conference Finals
San Antonio vs. Phoenix

Winner: Phoenix

NBA Finals
Detroit vs. Phoenix

Winner: Phoenix

Season MVP: Steve Nash

Finals MVP: Amare Stoudemire

Eh, I don't see the Hawks winning that division. They're a bit of an improvement over last year and could fight for that 8th seed but they still haven't passed the Heat and Wizards, and probably not even Orlando after their acquisition of Rashard Lewis. Problem for Atlanta is that a lot of other teams in the East got better, including teams like the Knicks and Celtics that will be competing with them for those lower playoff seeds.

Ya i really can't see the hawks winning anything an on top of having a ridiculousy young team they have almost no chemistry so it will be another draft or two before they become decent.
