surprised noone has posted anything on this yet
in case you dont know, this is how the new schedules will be made now after the realignment:
every team will play...
1. ...each of the three teams in each team's respective division, twice each(6 games)
2. ...each of the four teams in one of the other divisions in the team's respective conference, the division is rotated every year (4 games)
3. ...each of the four teams in one of the other divisions in the conference that the team is not in, the division is rotated each year (4 games)
4. ...the two teams in the conference that the respective team is in that is not in one of the two divisions that the team is already playing against that shared the same position in the standings as the respective team (i.e. first place teams play first place teams, etc.)
I hope that that makes sense, I know I didnt describe it well. What is good (and bad) about this is that it minimizes the effectiveness of the "last place schedule", etc. since only 2 games a year are chosen based on a team's prior performance.
There are no byes during weeks 1-2 and 11-17, because there are an even number of teams now. I like this one.
There is no Super Bowl rematch during the regular season
My Chargers, once again, get no MNF game...but Washington does. Give me a break.
Dallas plays Houston in Houston's innagural game.

i guess...but which game would you rather watch? washington-philly or san diego-oakland?
the jets division is tough, one of the toughest. so is san diego's. the other 2 AFC divisions dont have too much...seems like Pittsburgh and Indy will emerge from there fairly easily. |

| the Broncos' division, IMO, will be one of the toughest in football with Denver, Oakland and Seattle all competing (sorry Defska). |
