I forgot to talk about this earlier but I wanted to say how about Mike Hampton with 8 and 1/3 innings of shutout ball at Coors Field on Opening Day? It looks like that big contract is paying off for Colorado already. I think what makes Hampton so good even at Coors is that change up he has. It's so wicked.
And how about Darryl Kile being made to start at Coors Field for Opening Day by Tony LaRussa? He goes 5 innings, and gives up 6 runs on 11 hits. C'mon, what's LaRussa thinking. He knows Kile has some psychological problems pitching there. I like LaRussa but I thought that was a dumb move.

I loved the Mets opener. Ventura was great with his 2 homeruns. It was nice to see Rocker get a homerun hit off him in his 1st pitch.
